According to SATBA’s public relations and international affairs, Deputy Minister and head of SATBA, while pointing to the uncertainties in the renewable investment mentioned those PPA contract holders and the investors, whose power plants have been operational, can export electricity to neighboring countries. Dr. Sadeghzadeh added that applicants may sell their generated electricity to SATBA under a guaranteed power purchase contract whenever they desire. Therefore, there will be no obstacle in this regard. The report adds: In accordance with the decree by the Minister of Energy No. 97/22029/20/100 dated 4th July 2018, SATBA has been designated as the sole unit responsible for issuing permits of the renewable and clean electricity exports. Accordingly, investors who are willing to export generated electricity to other countries by constructing the renewable and clean power plant, they can apply for electronic registration by visiting the SATBA website.
