A 10MW solar PV project in the Shiraz province has completed and connected to grid, Bargh News reports.
The plant opening was attended by the minister of energy, Reza Ardakanian.
Located in Eqlid, this plant has been constructed in an area of 20 hectares by private sector investment.
According to Bargh News, total installed capacity of solar power plants (photovoltaic) is almost 48.58MW.
Operating of this plant, will produce 16 GWh of electricity and conserve 4,370 cubic meter of water and also prevents to emission of 13,712 ton of environmental pollutant.
This plant has created 64 direct and indirect jobs during plant construction and operation.
