A 7MW solar power plant in Sarbishe county, South Khorasan province has been connected to the national grid, according to Bargh News report.

This plant, covering an area of 14 hectares, has been designed and built at a cost of € 6.5 million provided by foreign investment.

Operating of this plant, will conserve 3,060 cubic meter of water and also 4 Million cubic meter of fossil fuel annually. It also prevents to emission of 9,598 ton of environmental pollutant.

This plant has created 800 direct and indirect jobs during plant construction and also 20 persons will operate it.
